Cancellations & Refunds

The cancellation policies described below apply to all Listings on Fretish. The Short Term cancellation policy applies to reservations of less than 7 days. The Long Term cancellation policy applies to reservations of 7 days or more. renters may cancel by viewing their dashboard and then clicking “Cancel” on the appropriate reservation. Additional penalties or consequences may be imposed for cancellations, as set out in our Terms of Service.

If the owner cancels the reservation, the renter is refunded 100% of all money and the owner may be responsible for paying the renter’s transaction fee.

Short Term – Less than 7 Days

If renter cancels…

  • 3 days prior to reservation = full refund (except fees).
  • 3 days prior through start of reservation = first day non-refundable
  • During reservation = No refund

The Fretish services fee is non-refundable.

Fretish will mediate when necessary and has the final say in all disputes.

Cancellation policies may be superseded by Equipment Issue claims, safety cancellations, or extenuating circumstances. Please review these exceptions in our Terms of Service.

Long Term –7 Days or More

If renter cancels…

  • 3 days prior to reservation = full refund (except fees)
  • 3 days prior through start of reservation = 70% refunded
  • During reservation = Unused time from 24 hours after equipment is returned is 50% refunded

The Fretish services fee is non-refundable.

Discounted rates (i.e., weekly, monthly) may no longer apply if reservation is cancelled mid-reservation.

Fretish will mediate when necessary and has the final say in all disputes.
